Moving Made Easy

Welcome To Moving Made Easy.

Hopefully this blog can help anyone searching for good movers by providing more info on the movers they are hiring.
In a industry that's so easy for companies to have made up reviews on their web-site and claim to be the best movers.
Meanwhile all they do is
sit behind a desk, hire people off the street without any sort of training, Give you a quote for one amount and ask for almost double after  the newly hired mover has taken his sweet time just to get an extra $40 for two hours which would cost you at least $240.
There are movers out there that believe or not take advantage of their service and instead of providing honest service they provide an honestly daylight rubbery.

As a mover I understand how hard it is for many clients when they move or use movers for the first time and the amount of stress they can go through before their movers even arrive.
boxes packed by clientBut all that can change in 5 min of introducing yourself and the crew or it might take till the end of the end of the day, as long as the company provides the service they have been promising the client.  Never less clients understand and appreciate when the movers have taken good care of their belongings by protecting it with pads, have saved them time and headache without coming up with excuses like,

“Today I’m having a bad day“(You shouldn’t have came to work and waste my time),
“I have backace“(Then your in a wrong business),
“The truck Brock down”(Why nobody called?),
“Sorry we went for lunch"(You could have told us! Are we being charged for the hour & half),
“ We have to charge you extra for stairs"(You are the mover, I hired you for the stairs)………..

I can sit here all day and write all the excused the movers have came up for clients but I’ll leave that to you, at the end of the day none of clients went back to the same company nor they referred them to anybody they knew.

People always remember the bad service since it hunts them for the rest of their lives every time the clients relocates but good service in moving is hard to come by just like a good mechanic or contractor. Client might forget the company name or the crew name but they will never forget the bad service they get from any company.

Few years down the road there might be no more printed adds and who ever has a computer at home will rather spend few minutes on the web searching for the movers that can help them relocate with the
best possible service at a reasonable rate, not at $150/hour and then go for an hour and half lunch and expect the client to pay for it.
Things to look for when hiring movers,
Do they have a Better Business Bureau membership and how they have handled their complains.
There are alot of associations which some companies start their own just to be a part of something.
(ALWAYS) ask for an in home quote if in doubt, its always better to be safe than sorry, as long as you have your quote in writing it can NOT exceed %10 of the total by law.
Good luck with your move.
use the web and look for bad review then good made up ones.Just add Bad, Complaint or Never Use tag names with the company name and hopefully you will at least stay away from the bad ones.
